How our QHSE App Interacts with DataScope’s Other Systems
DataScope’s QHSE platform is widely used for inspections, safety checks, permits, and briefings directly in the field. However, it also integrates with our wider systems to help save time, mitigate risk, and promote accountability across teams and projects. Let’s dive into how DataScope’s app interacts with other core DataScope systems.
Linking Workforce and Safety Data
Our app links with DataScope’s Time & Attendance System. Teams can access essential operative information in the app, ensuring that workforce data is connected to permits and safety.
This integration works multiple ways: operatives carrying out the works can be selected from a pre-populated list in the system and directly added to a permit, or our app can scan an operative’s unique QR code, to instantly access:
- Competencies & qualifications
- Emergency contacts
- Medical records
- Site access history
- Live permits
Using the app in conjunction with the system not only enhances accountability but also ensures that only qualified individuals are assigned to specific or high-risk tasks.

DataScope’s Planning Tool, DataTouch
DataTouch is our powerful planning software that pulls together data from our wider suite of systems, including the app, ensuring consistency and increasing productivity.
Trades can generate multiple hotspots simultaneously using the app’s Doc Drop feature. Once submitted, these hotspots automatically appear in the DataTouch software. By linking the app with DataTouch, these hotspots can be dragged and dropped on site drawings both in the app and on the big screen. This real-time visualisation provides site managers with a clearer overview of ongoing activities, reducing risks and improving project coordination
Asset Inspections and More
With DataScope’s Asset Management System integration, users can carry out on-site inspections on assets, book assets, and register them – all through the use of the app by scanning unique QR codes. All actions are automatically recorded and stored in the system.
FLIR ONE for Thermal Imaging
The app integrates seamlessly with FLIR ONE cameras, allowing trades to capture thermal images directly within the app. These images can be uploaded to a permit or form in real time, providing valuable insights or evidence for potential safety hazards.
All captured images and completed forms are instantly accessible via DataScope’s web system for further review and documentation.

Enhancing Efficiency Through Interconnected Systems
DataScope’s app is more than just a standalone solution – It’s an integral part of a wider connected system. By linking with DataScope’s core systems to retrieve real-time data, the app enhances efficiency, accountability, and safety across construction projects.
With these interconnected systems, DataScope continues to empower teams to maintain a golden thread—ensuring that projects run smoothly, risks are minimised, and safety remains a top priority.
