Laing O’Rourke x DataScope Logistics Framework Announcement

DataScope is delighted to announce that we have signed a national framework agreement with Select Plant Hire for the provision of our Delivery Management System across all the UK projects of their parent company, Laing O’Rourke.

Select and DataScope have worked hard over the last year to develop a cutting-edge Delivery Management System that has already been used on multiple projects, including Everton Stadium and Shepperton Studios.

Developing an Industry-Leading Digital Logistics Platform

DataScope worked closely with Nikki Wain, Logistics Controller – Select Plant Hire to develop a delivery management system that includes:

• A portal through which contractors and suppliers book all site deliveries against a managed schedule that has been set up and controlled by the logistics team
• The ability for sites to directly configure individual gate availability and schedule to help optimise capacity and minimise disruption
• Tablets loaded with our DMS app manage access and egress of vehicles from site and record CLOCS compliance
• A comprehensive set of delivery reports to help drive performance, ensure compliance and monitor emissions

Although in early stages of the partnership, benefits of the system are already apparent:
